Today more than 1000 people work at the factory. The factory keeps working in two shifts, and it’s a great piece of luck to be one of the workers of «Slavyanka» factory. Using it’s earned funds, the factory develops it’s production, makes regular re-equipment and provides new workplaces. In 2000 a new shop and a stock room were built there. In summer of 2001 began installation of advanced automatic cutting equipment of American company «Herber». The same year another «Slavyanka» shop, where work about 40 people, was established in Opochka city. During 2001 a preparatory work on implementation of international quality system “ISO 9000” was carried at “Slavyanka”. This system allows for improving work organization and production quality, engaging new partners and customers, it also helps to work more effectively with suppliers and utilize power, raw material and human resources, as well as develop new consumer’s markets. In December of 2001a world quality system implementation act was issued to the factory by a certification committee from the first time without serious remarks.
Today CJSC “Pskov garment factory ”Slavyanka” is one of the largest factories in wearing-apparel industry in North-West of Russia. A certificate «Leader of Russian Economics» was awarded to “Slavyanka’s” employees not by accident. A director of “Slavyanka’ factory Elena A. Kosenkova was given a diploma «The best manager of Russia», the factory’s production has a «Golden Quality mark of 21st century». «Slavyanka» defies competition with similar factories in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tver and other cities not only in Russia but also in Europe. Now it may safely be said that a brand “Truvor” is universally recognized. If customers see this brand on lapel of a jacket, they can rest assured in high quality, reliability and comfort of the product, manufactured on Pskov land. This customers’ assurance is approved by numerous awards, recently taken by ”Slavyanka” for it’s labour: a diploma of laureate of a Russian competition “Textile Saloon-98”, where a popular designer Viatcheslav Zaitcev was a chief of jury; a silver medal of all-Russian consumer goods fair, got by the factory in August of 1999. The same year production of Pskov handy seamstresses got into treasured list «100 best products of Russia» compiled by Russian State standard, Presidium of quality problem Academy and editorial office of magazine «Standards». Among these awards is a diploma «For creative approach to classical men’s suit», received in sign of recognition of ”Slavyanka”men’s suit the best at the 14th all-Russian wholesale trade fair of light industrial goods and fabric industry goods in St. Petersburg in 2000. But the greatest pride ”Slavyanka’s” employees took for a letter from President of Russia Vladimir Putin, where he expressed thanks «for effective work, skill to act initiatively, for assistance to the country in replenishing state treasury with sterling, live ruble».
